Engineering Awareness Night (EAN) is an event that the POBots have been running since 2007. Every year, we invite hundreds of community members for a night of robotics and STEM fun! We introduce the applications of science, technology, engineering, art, and math into the physical world. We conduct a range of experiments from creating parachutes and launching them from wind tunnels to building catapults. Furthermore, students can interact with professionals from across a diverse range of STEAM fields. In 2025, we had about 70 volunteers, the most we have ever had for this event! Engineering Awareness Night has been crucial in the POBots pipeline, helping capture the attention of future members and leaders of the club.
