Volunteers put in hard work, long hours, and in many cases professional expertise to help students get the most out of their experience.  Emcees, referees, judges, technical advisors, and event coordinators allow the season to happen—from kickoff to the Championship, and everything in between. Thank you to all the volunteers! 

The POBOTs have several members who volunteer officially at events. The entire team, however, volunteers their services to other teams in one way or another. Additionally, team members help run FLL competitions—from DJs to judging assistants to scoring.

Parents

Parents are often a group whose services go unnoticed. In reality, FIRST could not exist without the help of parents. While parents can be thanked for transportation and for food, they serve a much more important function on team 353 and on every other team. Parents support their children, and encourage them to do their best. They motivate students into participating in meaningful activities such as FIRST. When a student is successful, parents are there to congratulate the student for a job well done. When a student is struggling, parents help to console the student and cheer him or her on. Thank you parents!
